How to get help

If you need help from our foodbank there are a few simple steps to follow.

1. Get a Food Bank Voucher

The first and most important step is to get a food bank voucher.

To make sure you receive the right help for your situation, we work closely with a range of local partner agencies. If they feel you’re struggling to afford food, they can issue you with a food bank voucher. These agencies can also offer longer-term support to help address some of the reasons behind your current difficulties.

Some of our partners include Citizens Advice, housing support officers, and health visitors.                                                                                              If you call or email our food bank, we can talk through your circumstances and connect you with the most suitable local agency.

2. Arrange a Visit to a Referral Agency

Once in touch, the referral agency will discuss your situation and, if appropriate, provide you with a food bank e-voucher.

You can also contact Pembrokeshire Citizens Advice directly on 01437 806 070, and they’ll be able to issue a voucher if needed.

3. Bring Your E-Voucher to a Food Bank Centre

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed with a warm drink by one of our trained volunteers. We’ll take time to chat with you about your situation and any dietary needs you may have. You’ll then receive a parcel containing three days’ worth of emergency food, and we’ll do our best to support you in any other ways we can.

Our centres have a friendly, café-style environment where you can expect understanding, respect, and non-judgmental support during a crisis.

If you have any further questions, please check our FAQ page or get in touch — we’re here to help.

You can find a list of our local centres and opening times here.
